To give our families total peace of mind, we established our crematory in 1989 to ensure your loved one never leaves our care. We are the only Funeral Home in The Hudson Valley that owns and operates a crematory. Most other funeral homes transfer your loved one to an outside cremation service without being present for any part of the cremation, which makes it impossible for the Funeral Home you hire to manage and supervise the cremation.

Our firm has a long history in this community, having been established by Thomas & Rita Flynn in 1955, it has been family-owned and operated by the Flynn Family ever since. Thomas and Brendan Flynn are currently at the helm, representing the second and third generations of the family to provide compassionate support to local families during difficult times. Their independent crematory facility is a source of pride and reassurance for families who entrust them with the care of their loved ones. Unlike other funeral homes, they have complete control over the entire cremation process, which means your loved one will never leave their care.

All the services offered with traditional burial are available at Flynn's when you choose cremation, including the opportunity for family members to go to the crematory and witness the beginning of the cremation process if that's something your family would like to do. Additionally, Flynn's has a large selection of rental caskets available, so your family can have a service without the added cost of purchasing a casket.
